The MCK team would like to recognize the C of O Graphic Arts Club for being this year's outstanding club dedicated to using their talents to help those in need. Since MCK started spring 2009, directed by Senior JaMarie McElvain, the club has provided the design, development, and production of all major homeless outreaches and awareness event flyers, t-shirts, and much more. The club was the first student group at the college to volunteer to set up the leg work of MCK's first campus awareness event. The club worked quickly to help set up the first campus awareness booth and as a result of their commitment to help raise awareness and concern, in only one weerk over 100 students signed up for information to fight poverty. Recently, the club donated nearly 50 thank you cards to MCK, designed the graphic artwork for a local community outreach event, and provided the labor and designwork for MCK t-shirts. The club is currently working on the design for another t-shirt that will be used to help raise awareness about poverty and the importance of partaking in the census count. The MCK Team is honored to work with the C of O Graphic Arts Club and to recognize the club members for their commitment to fight poverty.
